A graduate from the fine arts program of the School of Visual Art in Moscow, Anna Kocherovsky turned to hand-woven tapestries in the search of a fresh visual language and a distinct process she could call her own. During the last fifteen years Anna Kocherovsky has established herself as a fiber artist and painter.  She has been featured in national and international shows.  Her tapestries can be found in churches and synagogues throughout the United States.  In addition, she made tapestries for public commissions, such as Flames and Jerusalem Gates for the Jewish Home for the Aged in Michigan, and as well as commissions for the private residences.

She has more than 20 group exhibitions to her credit in  the United States. Anna Kocherovsky is represented by a number of galleries, including The Janice Charach-Epstein Gallery at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in West Bloomfield, Michigan, The Contemporary Tapestry Weaving in Royal Oak, Maryland and The Laurie Ticsh Sussman Gallery at the JCC of Manhattan, NY.
